MacBook Pro (15” Glossy)

Introduced: May 2006
Terminated: October 2006

Description

The MacBook Pro (15” Glossy) was a speed bump on the original MacBook Pro.  The two configurations had their processors bumped to 2.0 and 2.16Ghz.

History

Apart from the speed increase, the major development in the MacBook Pro (15” Glossy) was the introduction of the glossy screen.  It was a popular option in PC portables, and so the glossy screen was a build-to-order option.

  • This notebook is as effective as any other notebooks out there. The look is basic, no fancy things yet on the inside it is very effective. Love the glossy screen too. - Mario Romano
